Abstract:	歷來學界對於昆侖神話研究大都偏重在真實地理與神話地理的探討，但昆侖之所以在中國文化中日益展現出其旺盛的生命力，不僅限於其地理空間的神聖建構中，昆侖是《山海經》萬物盡有的原始神山，更是古典文學書寫中的樂園，乃至於道教上昇紫宮之路中必經的聖山。昆侖既是一個靜態的地理，又是一個動態的空間，不斷增衍創造與建構。而昆侖空間中的「神」與「物」，又是促成其發展成聖山的重要原因之一。在漢以來緯書地理乃至於魏晉時期的道教經典中，昆侖神山又以「神物所生，仙聖所集」的神域圖景被想像、詮釋與建構。「神物」與「仙聖」無疑是昆侖神話的中心要義。因此本研究計畫除了關注昆侖神話地理之空間特性以及其宇宙思維外，重心將至於上中古相關文獻以及考古圖像資料，實物資料中進行昆侖「神物」與「仙聖」相關資料的梳理彙整，並進行其類型建構、系統分析，探析不同時期，不同文本中昆侖「神靈物類體系」的發展、變化，以及神/人、神/山、神/物、物/山、仙/山、聖/仙/山之間的互動與組合關係，以見昆侖神話體系之形成發展與其神聖又複雜的編碼過程中，所隱涵的象徵思維與文化原型。
