| Abstract: | 數位化讓新聞變得更即時更講求快速，以往受限於網路傳輸和影音封包技術的線上觀看和網路直播，也隨著4G甚至5G時代的來臨而大幅邁進，行動裝置和智慧型手機改變了閱聽人接收和觀看影音新聞的使用行為，網路新聞直播作業也因為直播設備、直播平台和傳輸方式的改變而與傳統電視台直播出現很大的不同與變革，在傳統電視台以及數位網路媒體並存且同時發展的今天，網路世代的閱聽人與電視機收看族群出現了明顯的族群差異化，這差異不僅是出現在兩者年齡層分布的分野，媒體的收視和使用行為也完全不同，新聞快報必須搶快在第一時間透過網路直播呈現在閱聽人眼前，閱聽人不再受空間和時間限制，網路直播作業的簡易化加上人員機動性調整，出現了創新的直播作業模式和流程。
網路直播在新聞從業人員多工整合與臨時任務編組的特性下，開啟了新媒體網路直播的組織新型態和機動靈活的作業流程。網路新聞直播的作業流程，與傳統電視台垂直分工作業系統，部門動輒數十、上百人編制的龐大規模無法比擬，創新的直播作業模式和流程不僅僅帶來組織的變革，也對新聞內容的呈現產生衝擊，此衝擊對於負責主導新聞內容走向的新聞工作者又帶來哪些問題與挑戰。
本研究目的期望透過筆者親身參與的實務經驗，以個案研究法、多個案比較法為基礎，選擇一個重大新聞事件網路直播個案為例，並以ETtoday、UDN、三立新聞網三家新聞媒體昨為研究對象並進行比較，挑選在此個案中實際參與第一線的新聞工作者以及媒體主管進行深度訪談，期望透過此研究的分析結論，找出數位匯流的網路直播對新聞媒體帶來的組織變革與新聞內容衝擊之影響。
Digitization makes the news more immediate and urgent. Online viewing and live streaming used to be limited due to network transmission and video package, now they make great strides forward to the coming era of 4G and 5G. Mobile devices and smartphones have altered the audience’s viewing behavior. Because of the enhancement of live-streaming devices, streaming platforms, and transmission ways, unlike the conventional TV broadcast, the online live news has changed significantly. In the generation that conventional TV stations and digital online media coexist, there is a distinct audience diversion from conventional TV and network generation, including age distribution and viewing behavior. Through live streaming, breaking news can present the story to the audience in close to real time, so the audience won’t be bound by time or space. Thanks to the simplified live streaming and flexible personnel, the innovative patterns and processes of live streaming emerge.
Online streaming opens a chapter in new media’s organizational structure and flexible operational process owing to the attribute of multitasking integration and adhocracy. For the conventional station’s strategy of vertical collaboration, there are up to hundreds of journalists working jointly; on the contrast, innovative streaming patterns bring the revolution to not only the organizational structure but also the presentation of the news story. Accordingly, the research wants to explore what problems and challenges journalists will encounter while in charge of the trending news.
This research is based on my practical experience, and a case study on a live streaming example of three news media – ETtoday, UDN, and SETN, and it highlights in-depth interviews with journalists on the front lines and media managers. The academic contribution of this research is to further understand the impact of online streaming on the media’s organizational structure and media content. |
