Title:	報業政治獵巫：1950-80年代臺灣新生報政治案件

Abstract:	《臺灣新生報》前身是日治時期《臺灣日日新報》，1945 年二次大戰結束後，國民政府接日方資產，並將這個報社收編為官方報紙。在 1949 年至 1975 年期間，《臺灣新生報》多次涉入政治案件，新聞工作者共有 16 人遭到情治單位逮捕，並以匪諜罪嫌重刑處置。在國民黨威權統治期間，新聞媒體被當作意識形態的國家機器，從而媒體資源以「侍從主義」的模式配置給統治者的親信，以特權和資源換取忠誠和訊息。然而，侍從主義似乎並未保護《臺灣新生報》旗下的新聞工作者。本文分析四件個案：1949 年楊逵《和平宣言》案、1958 年倪師壇叛亂案、1966 年蔣海溶叛亂案，以及1970 年童常叛亂案。這四個案涉及多位新聞工作者在刻意羅織情況下，遭到逮捕拘禁、被判重刑甚至因而喪失生命。根據判決書和案件實錄留下的線索，可知這些新聞工作者成為政治獵巫的犧牲者，並非自身言論賈禍，而是成為當局打擊目標的手段，為羅織當事人罪證、而遭致牽連入罪。情治單位以反共為藉口，侵害新聞工作者的人身自由，使得整體社會的言論自由，受到重大傷害。
