Title:	加己減異、加異減己 ─ 專利佈署的全方位競爭策略

Abstract:	在企業策略的文獻中，主要的著眼點都是在於如何增加或重組自家企業資源的加法策略，對於如何減少對手的資源等減法策略的相關議題甚少著墨。本研究的研究目的就是希望在減法策略這個議題上，探討其理論上的可能性，並尋找實務上的案例來佐證這種減法策略的存在。本研究以專利的申請、移轉與訴訟等公開資料庫為搜尋案例的範圍。從兩個專利的實務個案分析中，我們可以發現，競爭策略存在四種策略類型─加己、減異、加異、減己，而且四種策略會交互進行。在 Apple 對 HTC 的攻擊（減異）過程中，雙方都持續在進行加己（增加自己的專利資源）的動作。在 Apple 對 Samsung 的正面攻擊（加己減異）過程中，Apple 也迂迴作戰，透過 NPE 以減己加異的方式對 Samsung 發起間接攻擊。全方位競爭策略就如同孫子兵法中所強調的「奇正相應，虛實相成」。本研究的貢獻在於引導策略學者正視企業之間在「資源面」的戰鬥攻防（Inter-firm Rivalry in Resource Side），開啟資源基礎動態競爭（Resource-based competitive dynamics）的研究。
