Title:	補助人文及社會科學研究圖書計畫規劃主題：文化哲學 Philosophy of Culture

Abstract:	本案規劃購置研究圖書的重點領域為「文化哲學」，本計劃僅為一年期的計劃，因而將對文化哲學採取較為嚴格而狹義的界定，亦即本計劃將限定在哲學史的發展中，有意識地將文化視為哲學主要研究領域的哲學學派與代表人物。以這個界定來看，文化哲學的研究，可謂始於義大利哲學家Vico；再經由浪漫主義Herder與Grimm在語言學、神話學與文學批評上的開拓；而進到十九世紀新康德西南學派的Rickert從價值哲學，以及馬堡學派的Cassirer從符號形式哲學的角度，去說明文化科學的基礎；而此時Simmel對於都市文化風格的批判，與Troeltsch對於宗教文化的闡釋，都構成了日後文化哲學最重要的研究基礎。直至當代對於文化現象的批判與對跨文化理解的可能性基礎，則更成為當務之急。依此本計劃一年期的採購重點因而在於：當代文化哲學專著 / 十九世紀新康德主義的文化哲學經典著作: Cassirer, Rickert / 浪漫主義文化哲學：J. G. Herder, Jacob Grimm / 二十世紀初期重要的文化哲學家: Georg Simmel, Ernst Troeltsch / 當代文化批理論 / 跨文化際理解理論。
