    Title: 從長期民意趨勢看兩岸關係
    Cross-strait Relations Based on a Longitudinal Study of Opinion Polls

    Abstract: 本研究運用國立政治大學選舉研究中心長期民意趨勢調查與2020年總統選舉後的《新臺灣選民》科技部調查資料，解析兩岸關係未來的可能走向。在2020年的總統選舉中，蔡總統獲得民選總統以來史上最高的817萬多票，臺灣的選民對於主要政黨的支持，是否出現重要改變？本研究發現：雖然在2000到2019年間，民眾對於主要政黨支持度的變化與政黨在選舉的表現密切相關。國民黨認同者的比例在2008年超過三成五為最高，但在2016年則僅有兩成一左右。民進黨認同者相對在2016年最高，接近三成，在2008年僅約兩成一上下。如果以泛綠或是泛藍兩個陣營觀察，在2000年到2019年期間，出生在1961到1972年的「五年級」到「六年一班」選民，相較於全體選民，是較為支持泛藍陣營。而除了2008與2012年外，四次民進黨勝選的年度，30歲以下的選民較全體選民更支持泛綠政黨。隨著民進黨的勝選，以及兩岸關係的持續緊繃，哪些選民會有所謂「中華民國」消失的「亡國感」憂慮？本研究發現：有超過五成的民眾憂慮中華民國會被中國大陸統一而消失；另有三成一的民眾憂慮中華民國因為臺灣獨立而消失。本研究也發現：青年、學生以及綠營的支持者，較其他選民更為擔心被中國大陸統一。而女性、家管以及泛藍支持者，較擔心中華民國因為臺灣獨立而消失。蔡總統在2020年5月20日就職之後，兩岸之間關係如何變化，如何降低可能的風險而增進和平穩定的發展，不但與中國大陸及美國兩強之間的互動相關，更考驗兩岸領導人的智慧。
