Title:	An Evaluation of the Research Efficiency of Colleges in the University:Case Study of the C University

Abstract:	In this research, we adopted the data envelopment analysis (DEA) method to evaluate the research efficiency of the colleges in University C from 2015 to 2017. We created an evaluation model to measure the research efficiency of the various colleges and analyzed the empirical data to formulate constructive improvement recommendations and calculate improvement targets for the inefficient units. We also highlighted the benchmark units to serve as a model for the other units. Findings showed that the overall research efficiency of University C has been improving year by year. Moreover, the substantiated colleges outperformed the unsubstantiated colleges in terms of research efficiency.
