Abstract:	棚瀬慈郎(1959～),日本滋賀縣立大學人間文化學部教授,自京都大學學習期間,即前往印度喜馬偕爾邦,在拉胡爾展開長時段的記錄與觀察。1995年任職于滋賀縣立大學,對印度喜馬拉雅西部的拉達克、斯皮提與藏斯卡等地進行全面考察。此書是在2008年向京都大學提交的博士論文《インドヒムテセのチベット系社會におけゐ婚姻と家運営一テホ一ル、スピテイ、テダツク、ザンスカ一ルの比較とその變化》的基礎上修訂而成,書中聚焦于喜馬拉雅西部藏系社會的親屬研究。
