    Title: 近代化觀看方式的變化與現代漫畫的興起

    Abstract: 西方自文藝復興時期後至十七世紀，一幅畫中從擁有多個時間點與視點的呈現方式，逐漸轉變為一個視點與一個時間點，這背後包含了文藝術復興的人本主義興起、宗教改革，帶動了世俗化視點的出現，而十三世紀大學林立創造出的讀者群，也促使了印刷革命的發生。此外，近代化最重要的概念在於使人將自然對象化，時間與空間成為觀察與控制的對象，直線序列的時間觀，以及瞬間時間點與視點的圖像，形成了近代民眾版畫、漫畫與電影的原理。這些在十八世紀末工業革命發生後匯集起來，形成了民眾版畫（IMAGERIE d’EPINAL），的興起。而19世紀初，諷刺畫家Rodolphe Töpffer(1799-1846) 展開的現代漫畫，與版畫不同，是在頁中分格，在人物的表情的誇大、變形上，有了很大的變化，尤其是連續故事漫畫，更強調了人物性格在序列畫格之間的連結作用，這種表現方式又與當時的劇院表演可以產生連結。本文即試圖從西方近代化的歷史，去爬梳現代西方漫畫形式興起的的脈絡。
