Abstract:	中緬邊境經歷了不同時期的政治動盪，形塑人群的流離移動和棲所，緬甸軍政府以停火協議作為政治手段，與邊境民族武裝勢力（德昂民族解放軍和北撣邦軍）取得片面停火，然而戰爭衝突仍持續發生。當衝突和不安成為日常，什麼可造就生活於停火協議區的人們一個可居住的世界(livable world)？是什麼力量和方式讓沈浸於不安和悲傷情境，可創造一個可居住的棲所(dwelling)？本文探討生活於緬甸撣邦北部的停火協議區的南傳佛教社群的流離和建立棲身之所的經歷，並說明軍政府與民族武裝勢力達成的停火協議，成為「停火資本主義」(ceasefire capitalism)的在地發展模式，其對在地佛教社群的棲所、空間實踐、土地帶來的衝擊與影響，以及尋求可居住的條件和生活方式。本文認為停火協議卻無法消除戰爭的不確定性，以及「停火資本主義」帶來在地發展，卻也造成農地被強制徵收和土地炒作，讓南傳佛教社群游離於戰爭/和平、安身立命/恐懼不安之間，而這些危機也造就凝聚力量，一個可實踐的、可居住的、可以想像的棲所。
