    Abstract: 網路資料中心為資料運算、交換、儲存等應用的需求,隨著網路、AI、大數據、雲計算、物聯網等產業的發展而不斷升高。IDC市場的主要驅動是社會各行各業對網路的高度需求。雲計算(cloud computing)資料中心與傳統的資料中心相比,在解決業務流程上具有無可比擬的競爭優勢,主要呈現在下列的方面:資源利用率、維運效率、服務水準更高,能源消耗及成本更低,業務種類更多,以及全網資源的統一規劃。IDC,是Internet Data Center的簡稱,即為網路資料中心。本研究主要以S個案公司創新型業務之一的IDC業務為研究對象,主要涉及到S個案公司IDC業務的建構、開發、營運、機房主機代管、伺服器租售、雲計算、網路加值服務等方面。
    本研究運用系統分析、文獻探討、實地調查等方式,以策略管理及競爭理論為基礎,綜合運用SWOT等分析方法,對S個案公司的IDC業務現況加以綜合分析。進而完成對S個案公司IDC業務的外部發展環境及內部競爭優勢的洞察力,對S個案公司的IDC業務發展策略做出選擇,並運用策略分析,制定符合S個案公司的IDC業務發展策略,以全面地提升S個案公司的IDC業務競爭力。IDC是提供承載業務的伺服器機房,是提供網路服務的基礎,其業務收入是未來通訊營運商的重要利潤成長點。以IDC生態為中心的建構和發展為S個案公司執行整體業務策略的重要一部分,為S個案公司面對未來,拓展新領域、探討新商業模式必須掌握的一項重點工作。S個案公司之IDC業務發展已經有多年的歷史,目前業務發展面臨產品單一化、市場開拓困難等困境,有諸多的問題亟待解決。
