    Abstract: 晚近科研活動倚賴圖像的實證表現和進行公共溝通，視覺已成為科技認知的重要途徑。圖像行動是視覺途徑的實作表現，並深植於圖像行動者關聯的社會條件。從治理的合理性來看，圖像論述的治理施為可稱為治理美學，是以視覺體制為基礎，而有別於過往以真理體制為治理合理性的治理模式。
    本計畫即以上述主張，針對免疫基因體技術領域進行分析。研究工作涵蓋三年兩階段，主要方法包括三大部份：秉性分析、圖像關聯分析以及治理性分析。第一階段使用前兩種方法。秉性分析是基於計畫主持人前專題計畫發展出來的布貝模型，就使用、觀看以及分析圖像行為進行推理分析。關聯分析則以圖像家族在不同領域（專利、期刊、科普傳播等）中的使用狀況，建立對應的差異價值。結合秉性分析與關聯分析，圖像行動得連結到對應的社會空間，揭露視覺體制的社會意涵。
    第二階段的治理性分析進一步將視覺體制融入集體層次，探討治理效果的形成過程。圖像行動必發生在特定處境中，是由「前個體化」狀態析出。大量資料的積累與彙整使治理美學分出層次：個體化層次的圖像體制，以及群體層次運用圖像邏輯和計算工具產生的規範效果。治理美學因此不僅止於局部性的視覺體制，更進入到技術內生的本質迴路內。
    The research project aims at fostering impacts of emerging science and technology in the post-genomic era, by way of practice-centered and process-oriented understanding of research activities. Images have been widely utilized in scientific and technological activities as positive evidences and tools of public communication. Visual approaches have become an important way to scientific recognition. Pictorial representation is an image action and an actor's practice in visual way, which is also associated with the image actor’s position in a social space. From the view point of governmentality, image discourse is an action of governance, or can be called as aesthetics of governance, which is based on visual regime, rather than truth regime of conventional governmentality.

    With the aforementioned arguments, this research project intends to study the visual regime and aesthetics of governance in the field of immunogenomics, a new scientific field originated from genome research in the early 21st century. The project includes two stages with a period of three years. Major research methods include disposition analysis, association analysis and governmentality analysis. The first stage is to study visual regime, by way of disposition and association analysis. A Bourdieu-Bayesianism model counting for contextual effects on actors and a heterogeneous network approach for constructive consideration are carried out in this stage. The second stage is for aesthetics of governmentality, by linking the visual regime to a collective level. The analysis of aesthetics of governmentality is connected to the concept of individuation proposed by Gilbert Simondon.
