摘要: | 在高度競爭與市場快速變動的台灣環境中,專業代理商如何取得並維持代理權,成為實務界與學術界關注的重要議題。過往研究多著重於原廠對代理商的選擇標準,較少探討代理商需具備何種資源,才能在動態市場中維持長期競爭優勢。本研究以資源基礎理論(RBV)與代理人理論為理論基礎,透過個案研究法深入探討台灣大型專業代理商DKSH 之經營實務與資源配置,針對其取得與維持代理權的關鍵因素進行探究。
研究結果顯示,代理商在經營初期應具備聲譽資源、市場分析資源、銷售資源與售後服務資源,而在維持持續競爭優勢方面,則需仰賴與產品相符的專業業務團隊、策略性市場預測能力、制度化的客戶管理與信任建構機制。本研究也透過代理權延續與解除案例進一步分析影響續約關係的資源要素,並從資源可取代性與制度穩定性角度提出實務建議。研究結果不僅補足資源基礎理論在中介商領域的應用,也為代理商策略規劃提供具體參考。 In Taiwan's highly competitive and rapidly changing market environment, how professional distributors acquire and retain agency rights has become a crucial issue in both academic and practical fields. While previous studies have often focused on how principals select agents, relatively little attention has been paid to the types of resources that agents themselves must possess to maintain long-term competitive advantage. Grounded in the Resource-Based View (RBV) and Agency Theory, this study adopts a case study approach to examine the operations and resource configuration of DKSH, a leading international distributor in Taiwan.
The findings indicate that, to obtain agency rights, distributors must possess key resources such as reputation, market analysis capabilities, sales competence, and aftersales service systems. To sustain competitive advantage and long-term cooperation, distributors further require industry-aligned professional sales personnel, strategic forecasting abilities, and formalized systems for client management and trust-building. By analyzing both extended and terminated agency relationships, this study identifies critical resource factors affecting contract renewal and proposes practical strategies based on resource irreplaceability and organizational stability. The results contribute to the application of RBV in intermediary firms and offer concrete insights for strategic planning in the agency industry. |
