    Title: 量販業擴張策略與未來發展之個案研究

    Abstract: 有關於探討量販業的論文相當的豐富,包括從物流成效、經營績效、獲利模式及進入大陸地區方式等不同主題的研究;而有關於量販業擴張方式之討論並不多見。在2005年9月30日家樂福宣佈以捷克及斯洛伐克兩地合計十五家量販店與特易購換取在台灣地區六家的量販店之前,在台灣的量販業界除大潤發之外,並無其他量販業公司以購併或策略聯盟之方式進行擴張,大部份公司係以單打獨鬥方式在這個產業耕耘,最多只有愛買與吉安後來進行合資經營,本文透過對大潤發單一個案之觀察,藉以探討購併與策略聯盟等形式的策略對本土量販業在擴張上的成功因素。

    根據對此個案觀察其購併策略之所以成功的因素,包括(一)低調避免購併案曝光;(二)具決定權之管理者參予購併的談判;(三)適當的購併合約設計機制;(四)無強大的工會組織;(五)購併主體之營運商圈並未重疊。而有關個案中策略聯盟所以成功的因素包括(一)相同的策略目標;(二)合作夥伴彼此的信賴;(三)分享共同的利益;(四)不相衝突的營業據點。

    整體台灣地區量販業自2000年起競爭開始趨於激烈,時至今日則可以稱之為白熱化,僅臨百公尺之內同時存在兩家量販店,不再是無法想像的事情,量販業者在此過度競爭的環境,無論是從經營型態的轉變或是試圖帶給消費者便利性,都是為了市場的保衛戰,而在後續的發展中,購併與策略聯盟仍是業界值得思考的方式。
