Abstract:	本書為作者之散文集結，全書共分三輯，第一輯「山棗」寫過往之回憶；第二輯「遣懷」則藉不同的地域以抒懷，且憶故人；第三輯「歲月十帖」則以系列散文詩的形式，表達對歷史的感慨，轉而成一種對生命的體認和反省。平實真摯的筆觸，帶領讀者進入過往傳說般兵荒馬亂的歲月，那些夢一般的回憶，不只是「少年不識愁滋味」的感傷，而是，在歷史的震盪裡、在無言的境遇中，終於看清，哪些才是真正值得人們去珍惜的。那也許不是顯赫一時的名利權勢，而是平日並未察覺到的一些微不足道的人與人的際遇與關懷。當我們體認出那些當年拚了性命去爭奪的東西不過是過眼雲煙之時，那些際遇和關懷卻像天邊永不會消失的星光那樣，仍然溫暖了每個人的心。而這無言的追思，就好像是一粒種籽在成長中的孕育過程，是生命更一步的成熟和發現。
