    Abstract: 隨著世界貿易組織的運作、國與國間貿易和投資障礙的降低、各國消費者的偏好趨於一致性及各國人民平均國民所得的提高，國際環境已愈來愈有利於國際企業的發展。國際擴充的結果，使企業必須面對來自各國的競爭者、服務文化背景不同的消費者、管理文化背景不同的員工，以及營業據點分布世界各地的挑戰，國際營運的管理已趨複雜。

    本書特色

    　　一、因應台灣企業國際化的需求，本書由「國際經營環境」和「國際營運管理」兩個角度切入，期望能增進讀者管理國際業務的能力。

    　　二、相對於以往的「母公司下命令－子公司遵從」的管理形式，近來發現隨著子公司能力的成長，「母公司－子公司」間的關係已有本質上的轉變，且子公司的主動性益形重要；因此本書特別在第10章整理了多國公司「母公司－子公司」間關係之管理的文獻和實務，從子公司的角度，針對母公司提出有效管理子公司的建議。

    　　三、在內文案例的選擇上格外細心，以台灣企業的觀點看世界，多以讀者較為熟悉的企業作為討論對象，協助讀者瞭解本書的理論內容。
