Abstract:	本書是以「互為鑲嵌」這個概念做為思考的核心，一方面論述人的理性選擇和結構如何通過彼此鑲嵌的模式具體的表現在人們日常生活關係網絡互動之中；另一方面則是探討社會資本如何通過鑲嵌互動所形成的具體的關係網絡來形成與操作。並且藉由上述概念分析關係網絡操作中的彼此競合卻又相互辯證的效率、效益和正當性的問題，並且通過對結構洞的分析與操作是如何可能的問題，導引出對社會資本概念的反。可以說，本書的重點不只在告訴我們「什麼」，更重要的是在告訴我們「為什麼」；不只是告訴我們新制度主義與社會資本和一些與其相關的概念是什麼，更重要的是要說明它們為什麼是這樣。這樣的論述模式，相信或多或少可以帶給讀者一些啟發與思考。
