Abstract:	過去二十餘年來，隨著經濟改革和對外開放政策的推展，中國經濟快速增長，而其逐漸確立以市場交易為主的經濟體制，正逐步與國際經濟體系相融合。近年來，更由於中國社會經濟的急遽變遷，以及經濟全球化的發展趨勢，對中國經濟造成嚴重的衝擊，並導致中國經濟發展策略的調整。值此經濟轉型和發展策略調整的關鍵時刻，如何掌握現今中國經濟的面貌？這便是本書嘗試探討的主要問題。<br>本書大致按照「經濟發展」和「市場轉型」兩個主題進行論述，內容共分為十四個單元，前半部針對中國總體經濟改革與發展中的重要議題進行討論，後半部，則探討目前中國經濟市場運作的規劃和型態，期望能藉助本書內容，為對中國經濟改革及其發展有興趣者，提供一個宏觀且基本的理解圖像，進而對中國研究產生進一步的興趣與意願。
