Abstract:	本書開篇即點明主旨：「二十一世紀為數位科技的紀元，更是一個需要閱聽人採取行動、善用回饋的數位時代。」在多元社會環境與傳播科技變遷的影響下，媒體產業不斷發展，在傳遞方式、再現手法上一併呈現多樣的面貌。一方面，它對閱聽人的閱聽行為養成、價值觀形塑的影響不容小覷，另一方面，閱聽人必須有所自覺與回饋，才能制衡媒體、共同建構媒體文化，也才能由此增強媒體正面發展的生命力。本書作者從關懷弱勢者、青少年等的媒體近用權、參與權出發，高度重視閱聽人在傳播過程中的主體性實踐。在理論的釐清上，作者開國內風氣之先，以系統理論中的回饋概念貫穿全文；在實務的應用上，作者援引許多具體實例作說明，並以實證研究分析不同閱聽對象的回饋型態。本書用心寫就，寄期盼於閱聽人的自主性實踐與回饋行動，以促成媒體與社會的共同前進。
