    Abstract: 本書是縱論台灣女性小說的研究專著。對女性文學在台灣文壇的嬗遞有較為系統整體的探討，試圖勾勒出台灣女性小說史初步史觀。重新檢視五○年代以迄二十世紀末，五十年間每個世代的女作家在社會、政治、文化、性別結構劇變中引動出的敘事形式及內容的變革，並探究當代女性通俗文類改造的可能，以及女性因應民族性與全球化的思索。為了不使焦點集中在少數知名創作，重複主流霸權模式，本書廣泛地析論每個年代中重要作者及較少被評論的著作，呈現台灣女性小說較全面的圖誌。
