    Abstract: 本研究將關注焦點置於管理工作的本質和管理者的行動。本研究採取一整合的觀點，認 為管理者其工作的最主要本質即為設法整合各方的資源、目標、資訊等等，因此成功的管理 者，應該是一位好的整合者。而本研究就是要探討成功的整合者具備哪些特質、經驗、知能 等等，並且經常使用哪些原則以進行整合；尤其是面對許多目標不一致的關係人時，整合者 會採取何種手段、利用何種工具、資源如何去滿足及協調多方目標，又有哪些資產是特別能 夠幫助其完成順利整合的。另外，風險對於整合者的影響如何；而要培養更好的整合技巧應 該從哪些方面進行等主題。本研究將採用Eisenhardt (1989)所建議的研究策略來進行紮根的個 案研究，探討企業中管理者進行整合的行為，以試圖瞭解好的管理者在進行整合時所運用的 工具、所憑藉的原則和所考慮的前提假設等等，以期彌補研究者在此領域缺口，並希望能對 想要在管理工作方面有所改善或增進者提供參考。
