Abstract:	國內媒體經營者近年來受到外在環境的影響，愈加重視組織的「經營績效」，許多媒體組織在聘請專業管理者就常以「管理」背景為主要考慮，本研究想探究管理背景出身的專業經理人如何認知「新聞專業」？而其之認知與傳播背景出身的管理者差異何在？而在國內媒體競爭如此劇烈的生態下，這些管理者如何認知各種組織衝突，這些衝突與「新聞專業」的關係為何？媒體組織的衝突相關研究不多，現有文獻大部分環繞在「專業性」上。現有文獻顯示：在一個商業準則導向的組織文化中，新聞工作者又要遵守專業意理，衝突就成為組織文化的特色。本研究想針對幾位管理背景出身的媒體負責人進行深度訪談，獲取較為「管理面」的媒體現象，依據這些資料來與傳統「新聞學」做的「專業性」量表搭配，以檢視我國媒體負責人與中、高階主管在二十一世紀初，如何認知新聞的專業性與組織衝突，以及衝突與新聞專業的關係為何。
