    Abstract: 本研究主要目的在探討學生在不同數學問題類型上之成就﹐及其與學生學習取向與情境因素之間的交互作用。2003 年國際數學與科學教育趨勢研究(TIMSS)收集了學生數學成就以及來自學生﹑教師﹑校長﹑研究者的問卷調查資料。此外﹐ TIMSS 也發展了不同類型的成就測驗題目﹕例如不同的數學內容和認知領域﹐另外﹐也包含了高層次思考和創造性的題目。台灣也將加入PISA 2006 的研究﹐而PISA2003 宣稱他們評量的問題﹐除了有關學校教學的內容外﹐也包括「生活化」與「開放性建造反應」的問題。這些國際評量題型多元化的趨勢正反映出教學思潮的演進。本研究為了深入探討此學習成就﹑學生學習取向與情境交互作用的複雜問題﹐進行五個階段的研究﹕(1) TIMSS2003 資料分析研究﹕TIMSS 資料將由多種統計方法來進行方析﹐如變異數分析﹑群聚分析﹑區辦分析﹑因素分析﹑與結構方程模式等。(2) TIMSS2003 後續研究﹕首先以質性研究方法﹐在每個群聚約選取10 到20 個典型個案進行利用方格技術的訪談﹐以便對每個群聚有深入的瞭解﹐並加上第一階段的量化研究結果﹐而建構一個初步的理論或模式。(3) PISA 2006 資料收集﹕除了收集PISA 2006 資料﹐本研究亦將根據所建構之模式發展問卷﹐以探索PISA 2006 未觸及的深入「問題類型」的主題﹐並進行國際合作比較研究。(4) PISA 2006 與TIMSS 2003 資料分析﹕對所以收集的量化資料進行各種統計分析﹐一方面進行二者資料之比較﹐一方面則是進一步驗證步驟二所建立的模式。(5)PISA 2006 後續研究﹕主要是以質的研究方法﹐再加上之前量化研究的結果﹐以建立一完整的理論模式。
