    Abstract: 傳統地方研究偏重史料蒐集，而所蒐集的史料又非常零散，囿於人類認知的限度，分析通常停留在「點」和「線」，但在當代數位科技技術協助下，史料蒐集與整理開始展現新的可能。本文有兩重目的。其一，企圖為地方史料整理發展一條新的路徑。本文透過跨領域整合研究的概念，利用當代數位資訊技術蒐集和管理龐雜地方人物史料，尋找更多史料利用的可能性。另一方面，本文嘗試運用社會網絡分析技術，將原本留零散的史料進行統合分析，成為「面」的資料。本研究將以新竹市郊的一方百年石碑為例，解開皇恩碑人物之間的社會網絡係，展示史料分析從「點」到「面」的可能性。未來的傳播工作者也可應用此一方法取徑，自新聞資料庫萃取並分析對象人物的社會圈以及關係脈絡。
