Abstract:	湖畔詩社是中國現代文學史上繼“中國新詩社”後成立的第二個新詩團體,由四個志趣相近、性情相契的年輕人發起組成,他們才20歲左右,分別是同時就讀於浙江第一師範學校的汪靜之(1902-1996)、潘漠華(1902-1934)、馮雪峰(1903-1976),以及上海棉業銀行的職員應修人(1900-1933),在五四新文學運動的思潮激蕩下,於1922年4月在杭州西子湖畔成立,曾先後出版過《湖畔》、《蕙的風》、《春的歌集》等詩集,在當時產生過很大的影響,受到青年讀者的熱烈歡迎、喜愛,一度引起文壇的矚目。尤其是汪靜之的個人詩集《蕙的風》,在很短時間內印行六次,銷售二萬餘冊,這在新文學發展的初期階段是不多見的
