    Abstract: 大陸在改革開放政策下，實行社會主義市場經濟體制，由「計畫經濟」轉變為「市場經濟」，使中共的大眾傳播事業，相對產生變化。過去在習慣計畫經濟條件下，公款辦報、公款訂報、行政攤派。很長一段時間，報社經費由政府包辦，報社吃國家的「大鍋飯」，報社負責人只顧辦報，不管經營，廣告不登、發行不抓、外報不印、多種經營更是不搞。報社沒有、也不想有自我發展的能力。（王強華，1992:14）隨著改革開放，政府改變了對新聞單位財政上大包大攬的作法。（張光，1993:2）媒介必須自負盈虧，企業或經濟組織實行獨立經營，對自己的經營成果好壞，承擔全部經濟責任，根據盈虧狀況，享有相對經濟利益的經營準則。新聞媒介在此一原則下，除了報業整體結構的改變，無論管理、發行制度，都有了重大轉變。多種經營、行銷花招、拉廣告，絲毫不遜於西方自由報業市場，甚至出現了如西方媒介托拉斯的報業集團。本研究將分別從報業結構的轉變、經營內容的多元、報業管理及發行制度的變革、報業集團的出現等問題，分別探討。
    Newspaper management reform in China include four perspectives, namely newspaper structure change, financial policy, circulation system, and newspaper group development. The purpose of this reform emphasizes newspaper`s character of commerce, yet in general, the Communist Government News policy asks media should help political propaganda. This makes the biggest contradiction during the process of newspaper reform.
