Title:	從客觀性檢視報紙對「有線電視衛星換照」事件報導

Abstract:	「中立客觀」一直以來是主流新聞媒體所堅持與強調的專業精神，雖然中立客觀的新聞報導方式已遭批評挑戰，但台灣新聞媒體仍以此為主流新聞價值觀，並對外宣稱自己的媒體立場是「中立客觀」。本研究以2005 年的「衛星有線電視換照」爭議的媒體事件，以號稱「中立客觀」為自詡的三份大報為觀察對象，審視是否三大報在處理這次高度爭議性的新聞報導時，是否有如自我宣稱新聞客觀中立。本研究經文獻歸納之後以「引用可靠的消息來源」、「強調事實」、「平衡報導」、「意見與事實分開」、「用詞中立」等五個類目進行檢視，發現中時與聯合新聞偏差的情況相當嚴重，而自由時報刻意刪減此次換照爭議性新聞的報導，甚至完全沒有報導，這種植基於報社立場所進行的新聞篩選報導，同屬非中立客觀的新聞表現。在偏差新聞則數當中，出現最多的錯誤是沒有查證事實的新聞。因此結果雖然三報宣稱中立客觀，但在新聞報導中充滿了偏差新聞的情況。
