Abstract:	臺灣證券交易所限價委託簿揭示規則的改變，提供了我們檢定市場之資訊透明度與市場品質關係的良好機會。在考慮了成交金額、價格波動與股價等控制因素後，我們的實證結果發現，公司規模大的樣本，在市場資訊更加透明時，買賣價差確有降低的現象，反之，規模小的公司買賣價差反而變大了。因此，限價委託簿的公開，有利於大公司的市場流動性，但是小公司的市場流動性卻未見提升。我們的結果支持了Madhavan (1996)的主張，只有在市場具有足夠的深度及競爭性時，提高委託單內容的透明度才能提高市場流動性。否則，透明度的增加反而可能使得市場流動性下降。在投資人的下單策略方面，我們的研究發現限價委託簿資訊透明度增加，使委託單改單變得較不容易，大多數的投資人會下較小數量的委託單並拉長取消委託單的時間，市場上的法人相對於自然人而言，較可能會利用限價委託簿的資訊迅速地調整下單策略，也有較高的下單成交機會。投資人這些下單行為的改變，將可能會對公司的市場流動性產生影響。
