Abstract:	本研究的目的在於:(1)探討建立區別模式以預測企業績效的可行性;(2)探討台灣地區股票投資人的投資決策依據;(3)驗證投資人是否能應用本研究所建立的區別模式來預測上市公司績效,並因而賺取超常報酬。為達以上目的,本研究乃利用多變量區別分析、Logit分析及Probit分析等方法建立區別模式;以市場模式驗證績效良好及不好兩群公司的超常報酬情形;最後再以人員訪談及問卷調查方式探討股票投資人的投資決策依據。本研究結果發現:(1)模式對原始樣本的區別能力大多在70%以上,達5%顯著水準,惟對後期樣本的預測能力皆未達60%,可能原因為,前後期財務指標水準變化太大所致;(2)模式預測為績效良好的公司群,其累積超常報酬率普遍優於績效不好公司群,但大部分與0皆無顯著差異,主因在於股市對「稅後淨利」的反應並不強烈;(3)股市投資人對上市公司財務資料及盈虧皆相當重視,惟小額投資人顯然不諳績效預測方法。
