Title:	由利潤函數衡量我國銀行廠商之經濟效率－參數計量法的應用

Abstract:	本研究假設銀行廠商的行為是追求極大化利潤，將Kumbhakar（1996a）的單一產出假設，擴大為多元產出。從投入面技術無效率角度，推導出包含配昱與技術無效率參數在內的影子標準化利潤函數體系。使用本國銀行從1981年至1995年的縱橫資料（panel data），從事實證估計。研究結果發現（1）translog影子利潤函數體系的係數估計值，較Berger et al.（1993）使用之Fuss函數具頑強性；（2）銀行廠商的技術無效率較配昱無效率嚴重，而大型銀行的經濟效率高於小型銀行；（3）樣本期間內有顯著技術進步現象；（4）投資和放款兩種產出，有不對稱聯合生產（asymmetric jointness）性質。
