    Abstract: 1990年起大陸在《普通高等學校聯合招收華僑、港澳臺地區學生簡章》中規定華僑、港澳臺地區學生每年學雜費在1,000到1,500美元，是大陸內地生收費的兩至三倍。今年在野黨領袖連戰、宋楚瑜相繼訪問大陸，尤其宋楚瑜對於臺商、臺生提出投資保障和優惠要求後，得到中共總書記胡錦濤、中臺辦主任陳雲林的回應，中共決定臺灣學生自今年9月新學期間起，臺生比照內地生收費。「就學大陸問題」一直是困擾臺灣學生及其家長的大問題，由於兩岸教育內容的差異造成銜接升學考試的辛苦準備，意識形態上兩岸有截然不同的觀念，在生活習慣和人情風俗上兩岸也不盡相同；因此儘管中共一再保證，會盡力協助並歡迎臺灣學生報考內地高校大學本科、專科及研究所。但仍只有少數臺生願意赴大陸高等學校就讀，且這些臺灣學生仍然為大陸大專學歷的認證問題所困擾。最近中共大幅降低臺灣學生學費的策略，其目的當然是「降價大拍賣」，為了統戰利益、犧牲經濟利益；此舉不惜以瘋狂低價打破臺灣學生及其家長的猶豫，回應中共對於臺生回歸大陸升學的政策號召。
