Abstract:	亞太地區各國之間的安全合作，在合作機制的形式、內容，甚至在概念與動機上，在冷戰結束後可說是具有相當程度的差異性。這固然是由於牽涉到國家核心利益的安全問題，需要決策者就整體國家內外環境來做較為全面性的思考，而冷戰結束後的亞太整體安全環境有極為重大的變化，決策者的思維亦因此產生變動；另一方面也由於亞太各國無論在政治制度、經濟發展、文化、宗教、意識形態，乃至於各國自身對於安全概念的考量都具有相當程度的落差及多樣性，以致於亞太地區的各個國家，除了沿襲冷戰結束前傳統現實主義觀點的權力平衡體系之外，於安全合作的領域上，亦增添了自由主義的色彩，而呈現出與冷戰時期完全不同的多元面貌。以冷戰前後亞太多邊安全體系的系統特徵及轉變，以及體系內成員的互動模式為基礎，本文將以戰略發展的角度，描述中共對於此安全體系的參與策略，以及政策上的轉變；並藉由體系內地位與角色上的沿革，推論中共在參與的過程中與此一安全體系的互動模式與未來發展方向，並希望使得上述探討成為未來研究相關議題的概念起點。
