Abstract:	美國證券交易委員會與會計師臺灣政治大學周玲臺美國證券交易委員會（Securities and Exchange Commission）簡稱＂證交會＂（SEC），其委員會主席直接向國會負責，是地位獨立而權力極大的一個機構。為了執行證券交易法及相關法令以保護投資人, 證交會不但參與監督證券交易所、證券商及其他相關行業的業務, 它與會計師的關係更是異常密切。本文嘗試從會計學術的角度,解析美國證交會與會計師之間的關係,期使大家能將資本市場中的會計師, 與會議師所簽證的財務報表正確定位, 並希望能對管理股市提供一個可供參考的解答。
