Abstract:	雖然現代食品種類越來越多,甜粥仍被很多國家當作美食,甚至是節慶時必不可少的食物。庶民口中的俗諺多半是經驗的總結,有句話說:"偷雞不成蝕把米",這是偷雞賊把白米當做誘餌,志在偷雞,顯然雞也對白米有興趣。可您聽說過誰會抓把米往嘴里送?這正是因為人類的胃功能不如飛禽走獸,既不能像牛、羊那樣反芻,也沒有鳥類的砂囊。人類想吃米,得另外想辦法,好比說:弄口鍋,將谷子加水一煮,可以變得軟爛,成了湯或粥。
