    Abstract: 近代是中國社會和學術文化思想轉型時期，是中國圖書館、博物館、檔案館事業創建和初興時期。近代學術界在西方科學實證主義思潮和乾嘉考據學傳統的直接影響下，學術研究重視材料。材料蒐集的範圍不僅限於傳世文獻資料，還包括出土文獻資料和考古實物資料等。因之近代學術界人士直接參與了圖書館、檔案館、博物館建設事業，並謀求從文化整體關照的角度開創三館事業。顧頡剛的《購求中國圖書計畫書》和胡適的《中國書的收集法》是近代文化資源整合的重要思想史料，甚至還有學者指出“圖書館與博物館不必視為嚴格之類別”。在這樣思想的指導之下，近代文化資源保藏機構之間學術交流頻繁，學術研究不分畛域，甚至共同謀畫組織考古挖掘，圖書館和博物館（包括檔案館）界最高學術組織——中華圖書館協會和中國博物館協會聯合召開年會，等等。在文化資源建設上，互通有無，聯合舉辦展覽，編纂聯合目錄，公佈孤本檔案文獻史料和新獲考古資料，最大限度實現文化資源的互通和共享。本文力求從學術史和圖書館、博物館、檔案館事業史的角度，揭櫫近代在文化資源整合上的思想和歷史實踐，以回到原初的研究視角，為當下三館文化資源整合與共享尋找歷史經驗。
