    Abstract: 教育之設施,其目的不外增進受教育者底知識,訓練受教育者底行為,以培養人格,促進社會。英國科學家愛丁頓(Sir Arthur S. Eddington,1882-1944)謂:「瞭解吾人所追求的知識底性質,對於知識之追求,實在是一種幫助。」(註一)教育者自更需要瞭解知識底性質。美國教育哲學家杜威(John Dewcy, 1859-1952)在其名著「民本主義與教育」( Democracy andEducaltion)。末章開端言,學校裡面教授與訓育底最大目的在乎養成學生品格。教育和行為哲學關係之密切,無待言喻。本文分知識哲學暨行為哲學兩章,以陳教育歷程底哲學基礎。前者就認識之起源、知識之構成、知識之真偽等三方面來論列,後者則分道德與教育、自由與教育、及藝術與教育等三節。
