    Title: 孔墨思想異同之研究

    Abstract: 孔、墨兩家，自古號稱顯學；且俱以脩己利人之道，謀所以淑世濟民；而墨之非儒、儒之闢墨，乃若是其甚也。後之學者，每多評騭。然以立場各殊，持論懸絕；而或援儒說墨、援墨入儒，尤令人滋惑。因思就兩家之誤，而為全面性之比較——庶使淄澠相氾者，各還其本真；而其學術之流別，亦因之而益額。
    於是取其足資代表孔、墨思想之文獻，如論語、墨子等書，以為立論之主要依據；間亦採取有關經傳之言以為佐證。然後根據二家學說之主要內涵，歸納為若干門類，分別發其義蘊、抉其幽微。並以兩相對顯之方式，以見其同異所在，然後更藉比較論評之文以凸顯之耳。
    文分九章：第一章為導論，意在揭示兩家相非之事實，以及前此學者之有關論斷，以明撰述本論文之緣起與作法；第一一章探究孔墨思想之形成及其流衍，以為往後立論之參證；三至八章，則分別說宗教及形上思想、人生觀、中心思想、政治、財經、教育諸門類，而將兩家之說，相互排比，以為疏通證明，見其同異，且為之論評焉。是為本論文之主體。第九章結論，則歸納前論，以為總結。凡二十餘萬言。
    經由本論文之析探，於歷來孔墨間義理之混淆，雖未足以息爭而止喙，然亦已獲得相當程度之疏導與澄清。諸如：仁愛與兼愛之歧異、人倫與天道之分途、尚文與尚質之懸隔、有命與非命之爭議、義利觀念之糾葛、教育內容之偏尚、政治理念之異趣，乃至人生理想之異同，皆嘗有所彰顯；而孔、墨思想之同而實異、異而猶同，其因果之際、得失之間，亦因之而愈明。至於愜當與否，則仍有待諸師長之教誨，而當世賢達之匡正焉。
