Title:	由敘事理論角度分析媒介對「二二八事件」的報導

Abstract:	在解嚴之前，「二二八事件」是個不能公開討論的禁忌。在政治氣氛逐漸開放後，要求公開討論「二二八」的呼聲浮現，媒體自不會外於解嚴後蔓延開來的二二八「討論熱」與「翻案風」，因此，探討解嚴後的大眾媒體（特別是報紙）如何呈現「二二八」便有其價值。本研究以「敘事分析」的角度，探析大眾平面媒介對讀者「說什麼樣的二二入故事」，以及「如何述說」。採取這樣的研究角度，代表了研究者之觀點，認為新聞敘事對事件所提供的意義與其鋪陳意義的方式密不可分，互為表裡。本研究在樣本的取擇上，以「中國時報」和「聯合報」在1991年到1998年間，兩報對「二二八事件」的來龍去脈描述甚詳的10則新聞進行敘事分析。分析架構則從媒介「二二八」敘事的「核心情節」（說什麼故事）與「論述方式」（如何說故事）兩方面著手。本研究之發現如下：
