Title:	哈薩克共和國政治發展－獨立歷程 The political development of Kazzkhstan

Abstract:	哈薩克原為前蘇聯十五個加盟共和國一員，在歷史及地緣上均與我國存有密切的關係，但在過去的數十年中，由於政治環境因素使然，致使國人對其認識相當有限。自一九八六年十二月十七日於哈薩克首府阿拉木圖(Al ma-Ata)爆發蘇聯有史以來首宗民族衝突事件，終於揭開了蘇聯民族自決運動的序幕，間接地導致蘇聯的瓦解。哈薩克面積居世界第九位，乃前蘇聯第二大共和國，其位於中亞並與中國大陸為鄰，擁有核武，咸認為歐亞大陸戰略樞紐。本論文旨在探討哈薩克民族主義的興起及哈薩克爭取獨立的歷程，並研析其獨立後政治發展與未來情勢展望，以及其對區域環境之影響。本論文的研究，以地緣政治為理論基礎，哈薩克歷史發展為經，其各時期政治發展為緯，相互交織，從歷史、地理與政治三者互動關係探討哈薩克之政治發展全文共計六章，分別以哈薩克文化背景，及由蘇聯統治期間的黨政結構、經濟發展、社會狀況等探討對其政治發展之影響。及以哈薩克民族組成、分布及歷史互動，研析其民族主義興起背景因素，探究哈薩克之所以獨立之徵結所在。最後就哈薩克獨立後之內政與對外關係，論其在中亞地區、獨立國協和世界新秩序中所扮演之角色地位。
