Abstract:	論文提要本論文旨在從西方民主政治理論的發展探討民權主義，進而研究政治制度設計如何配合中國未來民主政治的發展方向。計分六章，全文近十八萬字。第一章為「緒論」，說明研究動機、態度、方法與架構。第二章為「主權在民與民主政治」，從主權在民理論的淵源與演進及民主政治理論的發展與爭論，探討現代民主政治中主權在民的意義。第三章為「中山先生主權在民理論的基本主張」，剖析中山先生權能區分、直接民權、全民政治、民權初步、建國三程序等與主權在民相關性的理論。第四章為「中山先生主權在民理論的制度設計」，檢視中山先生國民大會、五權憲法、地方自治及政黨政治等為達成主權在民目標的制度設計。第五章「現行憲法有關主權在民理論的體現」，論述現行憲法制定的經過、有關主權在民的規定及臨時條款的調適。第六章「結論」，綜合評述中山先生主權在民的理論。
