Abstract:	前言：說明研究動機、研究範圍、研究方法及文中人名、地名之翻譯方式。第一章十三世紀世界征服者－蒙古帝國內分二節，敘述蒙古帝國的崛起與衰亡及其顯赫武功。第二章蒙古帝國的軍事內分五節，分別從軍隊組織，蒙古馬政、戰技訓練、戰具裝備、戰紀志諸方面來探討之。第三章蒙古帝國西征內分三節，說明前後三次西征的導戰原因，作戰準備與戰爭經過。第四章西征戰略運用之研究內分二節，係以現代戰略學的觀點，來討論十三世紀蒙古軍西征時所採行之國家戰略與野戰戰略。第五章西征戰術運用之研究內分八節，係以現代戰爭戰術理論來分析、歸納蒙古軍西征戰術之運用。結論：綜論蒙古軍西征戰略戰術運用之得失。
