Title:	數學規劃在統計問題上應用之研究

Abstract:	第一章，數學規劃和多變量統計之關係。討論兩者之間的關係，並介紹其概念。第二章，線性迴歸分析，按無條件式限制情形，有條件限制情形和條件式含不等號情形，分別討論之，並指出其困難，其所受限制。第三章，線性規畫方法在線性迴歸上之應用。提出以L1長度，L2長度和L8長度等三種推定標準處理線性迴歸問題的步驟。第四章，非線性規劃在線性迴歸和非線性迴歸上之應用。提出以非線性規劃方法處理線性迴歸問題和非線性迴歸問題的步驟。第五章，利用數學規劃來解統計問題的進一步研究，先以理論分析方法得Ll長度和L8長度推定在某些情形下較慣用之L2長度佳，再以Rice教授和White 教授的實證分析，證實之。第六章，線性模式的不偏推定之一種新的線性規劃步驟，提出求L1長度和L8長度的分偏推定量之步驟。第七章，實例，最後結論。
