Title:	競選經費何處去？－競選行為的模擬分析

Abstract:	在投票行為的研究領域中，「投票矛盾」是一個廣被討論的命題。本文採用了理性選民不投票的概念。對選民的投票行為做了一個重要的假設：只有接受候選人的遊說，選民才會去投票；而個別選民的遊說成本與其政見偏好有關。　　本文的重點乃是在上述的架構下，探討候選人如何透過競選遊說以爭取選票，如何透過策略的運用讓競選經費的支出更有效率，也說明了兩候選人政見位置及競選經費的改變對後選人競選策略的影響。　　因為模型過於龐大複雜，所以本文採取模擬的方式以分析均衡解的若干特性並做比較靜態的預測分析。　　模型分為四個部份來討論，探討後選人的競選區域有無受邊界限制以及與另一候選人發生重疊。結果發現以下的節推論：第一，候選人的競選經費愈高其願意支出的搜尋成本就愈高。第二，競選（賄選）區域愈趨於對稱，候選人的得票率就愈高。第三，候選人的政見位置距邊界愈遠或兩候選人相對位置距離愈遠，候選人會採取較為保守的競選策略，亦即鞏固鐵票，爭取忠實選民的認同。第四，競選經費愈高，候選人的得票愈高；而且競選經費相對的提高不僅可拉高本身的得票，同時亦會降低對手候選人的得票，一舉兩得。
