Title:	1950年代中國農村社會主義改造與苗族的「天啟末世」運動—以鬧升天、鬧搬家與鬧皇帝事件為例

Abstract:	本文討論1950 年代發生在中國西南苗族地區的三類看似宗教性的群眾事件與農村社會主義改造政策之間的關係，這三類事件包括了「鬧升天」、「鬧搬家」以及「鬧皇帝」。鬧升天係指群眾假借獲得天啟之名，散播耶穌復臨的消息，造成群眾恐慌；鬧搬家則是群眾以團體的方式舉家遷徙到別處；而鬧皇帝則是比較大規模的武力反政府舉措。本文指出這三類事件其實自1920 年代以來就陸續發生過多次，且都是藉由謠言煽動，最後導致大規模的群眾事件。儘管這三類事件看似並無甚大的關連性，但實際上都與苗族的歷史記憶、族群認同有著密不可分的關係，並在苗族接受基督宗教信仰後所闡釋的天啟末世思維、千禧年思想，以及彌賽亞主義推波助瀾下，讓這些運動彼此之間產生了相互影響的連結。本文以為，這類事件的發生，導因於苗族與其他群體之間的利益衝突，特別是1950 年代以降的統購統銷、農業合作化等社會主義改造政策，造成苗族利益的損失，進而引發許多藉由謠言而起的恐懼與不安，當這些集體恐懼藉由謠言的傳播，結合了苗族的天啟末世思維，遂肇生一波又一波的群眾事件。
