Abstract:	本文就該篇內容大義，歸納成七點，以見周公挽留召公繼績在朝中輔政的誠意，並借以表現周公之德、聖人之情。一、以國家興亡相責勉，使召公打消退隱的意念。二、以創業不易、守成尤難，表明一己的處事方針。三、以前代的盛衰，說明輔佐大臣的重要，借以勉召公繼續為周之大業效力。四、明示以文、武的聖明。然其所以有成，亦無不仰賴大臣的輔佐，借此期盼召公同心輔政。五、說明老臣凋謝，碩果僅存，世臣輔政，當共休戚之理。六、以前王顧命相召，以一己之至誠相感，以無窮希望相勸，以光明遠景相勉。七、以畏天命、悲人窮為懷，所以多誥。八、結語。
