| Abstract: | 此篇論文鎖定政治敘事為主軸，關注作者如何談論政治事件。觀察台灣文學場域，大多數的政治敘事偏好透過「性別」的二元對立，表述相對的政治理念。本文認為，這般敘事策略實是一種「想像」——敘事將權力關係「性別化」，以兩性的刻板特質來投射權力的高低；權力的消長與對抗，也被簡化為男女情感與性的對抗。
更特別地，大部分政治敘事使用「家庭元素」為主要架構，不論是親屬關係、稱謂使用，甚至婚姻等元素屢見不鮮。據此，本文參考李維史陀《親屬關係的基本結構》、魯賓〈女人交易〉與後結構女性主義等理論，析論家庭角色暗藏的性別位階，並且指出：政治敘事架構「家庭」的原因，就是有意藉由家庭角色，形塑性別化的個體，再以性別化的個體投射權力的高低位階。
親屬關係、稱謂使用與婚姻為政治場域提供必要的想像價值，因為倫理、性別的差異恰好可以對應權力的階序；然而，此一想像價值卻也讓政治敘事顯得僵化固著。本文認為，唯有揭開深層的想像，才能為文學、政治學與性別研究提供不同以往的想像途徑。
This article examines how a writer talks about political incidents, and focuses on the political narratives. Looking through the discourse of Taiwanese literature, a common narrative strategy shows up that conflicts of political ideas are usually demonstrated through the binary opposition of genders. In this article, the author defines this narrative strategy as an “imagination”, which means that the relationship of political power is genderized by the narratives. When the relationship of political power is genderized, the stronger part and the weaker part are projected and distinguished by the stereotype of the genders. The conflict, and the growth and decline of political power are also simplified as romantic relationship and sexual conflicts.
More interestingly, most of the political narratives are constructed with elements of family, like kinship, terminology of kinship, and even marriage. Therefore, after reviewing Claude Lévi-Strauss’s The Elementary Structures of Kinship, Gayle Rubin’s “The Traffic in Women: Notes on the `Political Economy` of Sex”, and post-structural feminism, this article attempts to analyze the gender ranking in between the family members, and also points out the reason why political narratives are constructed with elements of family—the characters in the family represent the genderized individuals, and further project the hierarchy of political power.
Kinship, terminology of kinship, and marriage provide an essential imaginary
value for the political discourse, since the hierarchy of political power is perfectly projected by ethic and the difference of gender; however, the imaginary value also highlights the rigidity and the staleness of political narratives. There is no way to establish a revolutionary approach of imagination for literature, politics and gender studies, unless the genderized imagination is abolished. |
