    Abstract: 本計畫運用「家庭收支調查」及「華人家庭動態調查」兩個資料庫探討臺灣家庭對子女投資的變遷、社會階層的差異及性別偏好。透過檢視不同所得及家庭結構對子女金錢及時間投資上的差異，以了解臺灣下一代成長過程中資源不平等的程度。另外，也探討家庭對子女的投資是否存在性別偏好，及此性別偏好如何隨著臺灣社會的變遷而改變，藉此了解男性及女性在成長過程中所獲得的資源差異。藉由此計畫的執行，讓我們得以了解臺灣家庭對子女金錢及時間投資的演變及從中反映的階層與性別意涵，進而讓我們了解家庭在臺灣階層與性別不平等生產與再生產過程中所扮演的角色。
