    Abstract: 本研究以台灣感測IC設計產業為研究對象,旨在探討台灣感測IC設計產業的競爭優勢來源,透過個案研究法選取具代表性的三家本國企業—原相科技、昇佳電子與義隆電子,分別從動態能力理論的三項構面─辨識機會(Sensing)、掌握機會(Seizing)、轉化與重組(Transforming)切入,輔以微觀基礎架構(Process、Position、Path),解析企業如何因應快速變動的市場需求與技術演進,探討其如何建構持續性的競爭優勢與維持策略。研究首先透過文獻回顧整理IC設計產業的發展背景與競爭特性,再以個案分析法針對三家企業的策略行動、研發布局與轉型歷程進行比較,進一步歸納出台灣感測IC設計公司在技術專精、產品應用、專利佈局與產學合作上的優勢與挑戰。理論架構結合Teece(1997)提出的動態能力理論、六力分析模型與波特(1990)鑽石模型,從企業、產業與國家層級進行層級漸進分析。研究發現,儘管個案公司在資源規模上相對有限,仍然展現具備高度市場敏銳度、快速產品開發能力與設計合作深度,形成特有的差異化競爭優勢,此外,企業多仰賴內部研發與產學連結推動創新,相較於大型企業採行的併購策略,形成不同規模條件下動態能力運作的對比,最後,產業高度群聚效應、上下游供應鏈完備、以及政府政策對人才與技術創新的支持,亦強化了其在全球市場中的關鍵地位。本研究提出企業應持續深化技術差異化、強化動態能力與培養技術人才,以因應全球半導體產業變局與維持長期競爭優勢。本研究補足既有文獻對於IC設計子產業企業轉型路徑與競爭策略的不足,亦對感測IC產業的未來發展提供策略性建議。
    This study focuses on Taiwan’s sensor IC design industry and explores its sources of competitive advantage. Using a case study approach, it examines three representative domestic firms—PixArt Imaging, Sensortek Technology, and Elan Microelectronics—through the lens of dynamic capabilities: sensing, seizing, and transforming. This is complemented by the micro-foundational structure of Process, Position, and Path to analyze how these companies respond to rapidly changing market demands and technology trends, and how they build and sustain competitive advantage.The study first reviews the development and competitive features of the IC design industry, followed by comparative analysis of the selected firms' strategic actions, R&D deployment, and transformation paths. It identifies key strengths and challenges in technological specialization, product applications, patent strategies, and academic-industry collaboration. The theoretical framework integrates Teece’s (1997) dynamic capabilities, the six-force model, and Porter’s (1990) diamond model to conduct a multilevel analysis at the firm, industry, and national levels. Findings show that despite resource limitations, the case firms demonstrate strong market sensitivity, agile product development, and deep collaborative design practices, forming differentiated advantages. Their reliance on internal R&D and academic partnerships contrasts with large firms' M&A strategies, illustrating different expressions of dynamic capabilities across scales. Moreover, Taiwan’s industrial clustering, supply chain completeness, and government support for innovation enhance its global competitiveness.
