    Abstract: 在英美世界中,從1984年開始至今,迷研究已約莫運作二十多年了,學者們試圖洗刷迷與生俱來的污名,並大力宣導迷作為一種社會現象的分析正當性與豐富度,但在其中的反省力量也逐漸萌芽。對於台灣而言,學術性的迷研究雖已運作了十幾年,但仍然尚未進入Jenkins所言的「反思性階段」,仍固著於微觀的、樂觀的分析視野。這本必定會成為未來迷研究的經典集冊,不僅收納了許多迷研究的相關取徑,最重要的是,在導論與後記中均提倡一種「反思性」的問題意識,正好能提供台灣本地迷研究一個重要的借鏡,以增添本地迷研究所缺乏的批判性意識。
