    Title: 文化與意見的執持與轉變

    Abstract: 顧伯（John F. Cuber）在他的《社會學》（Sociology）一書中說，文化「是了解人類與了解人群的基本學問。大半其他社會學的理想從這裡產生也依賴它。」但什麼是文化？我們可以說它是一切社會價值、民間神話、習俗傳統的典範，再加上社會組成份子創造的與分享的努力的成果，文化就是人類生活中人為的整個環境。

    文化是培養的。因為我們每日的行為很少是生理自然促成，許多文化的培養都是在不經意間完成。

    文化是滲透的。文化的滲透性是我們雖經常沉澱其中而不感到它的存在，因為超然物外的客觀觀察是不可能的，也因此，研究人類文化的人士經常受他自己文化牢籠嚴重的困擾，使他無法科學地研究他所要研究的課題。

    文化是定型的，舉凡構成文化的因子，如物體、價值、技巧或行為規範等的存在都是相互關連，很少文化現象可以隔離存在與維持的。但各種文化都經常在調整重定它的定型。

    所以文化人類學者發現，相較於五十年或五百年前，任何現今文化相價值與行為的定型減少了僵硬，個人行為選擇的範圍擴大了，此趨勢明顯指出了每一個文化內在變異的增加。當文化內在變異的增加會使文化間的變異減少，學者推測文化間水乳交融的發展，會進而使社會制度互相影響，法律與道德、政府與宗教機構也會彼此分得更清楚，更深遠的。文化間趨於一致性後，會產生文化間的共同觀點而形成真正的世界民意，即是一種世界大同境界的實現。
